What should the enterprises of plastic industry do when the "plastic restriction order" is issued by the state again?

On September 9, the 10th meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensive Deepening Reform deliberated and adopted the Opinions on Further Strengthening the Control of Plastic Pollution.

The meeting pointed out that to actively deal with plastic pollution, we should firmly establish a new concept of development, ban and restrict the production, sale and use of some plastic products to control plastic pollution in an orderly and effective manner. In order to promote the "plastic restriction order" in the country, support the development of private enterprises, encourage enterprises to develop and promote green biodegradable packaging. Actively promote recyclable and easily recoverable degradable alternative products, increase the supply of green products, standardize the recycling and utilization of plastic waste, establish and improve the management system of all links, effectively and orderly control of plastic pollution.

The meeting clearly defined the current focus of the reform task, "plastic pollution" as an important issue was included in the list. The opportunity of waste plastics industry has come for a century. Within half a year, 15 countries have issued plastic ban.

China's blockbuster actions are one after another: 

In 2017, the central leadership issued instructions to solve the environmental pollution problem caused by plastic waste.

In 2018, the state implemented the "ban on waste" of imported garbage, the "opinions on Further Strengthening the control of plastic pollution" adopted at the national level.

The "ban on plastic pollution" issued in Hainan in 2019. The state will carry out 10 pilot projects of "non-waste cities". The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is formulating a "three-year plan of action for the comprehensive utilization of waste plastics". ” And so on, these actions have a significant impact on the plastic pollution control industry.
